WHY WE EXIST.

The Center exists to help professionals develop Strategic Management Competency and Entrepreneurial Management Competency so they can create more value and be more successful. We achieve our purpose through carefully designed MBA-level courses and programs—taught in English.

We take the best bits of the learning experiences and contents forged at global top business schools and optimize them for use in Executive Education, Professional Learning & Development, and Lifelong Learning.

Our Courses and Programs are grounded in the Science of Learning and feature premium contents, live instruction (in-person, except when we use simulations as the primary mode for learning), Learning Teams, and a manageable study pace that allows time for reflection and personal & professional development.

Unlike traditional MBA programs that emphasize breadth over depth, academic credentials over real-world application, and rigid accreditation-driven structures and rules over adaptability, our executive education delivers rigorous, relevant learning experiences tailored to the schedules and needs of ambitious professionals who are “MBA-curious” and ready to “level up” their knowledge, skills, and professional identity, but are too busy to commit to a full-time degree program.

Formerly known as the Management Development Initiative, TOKYO, the Center has been a leading provider of management education services since 2017. Our founder has worked in higher education since 2001. Managed and operated by HACKETT LABS, we are committed to shaping the future of learning and work.
