Learner Policies

Policies related to Admissions, Course Participation, Conduct, and Completion

I. ADMISSIONS-RELATED POLICIES

Admissions Policy

The purpose of our admissions process is to select qualified individuals who are sincerely committed to creating value for themselves and their classmates throughout the learning process.

Our Admissions are selective and criteria-driven. We consider:

  • how well an applicant matches the description of their target cohort;
  • willingness to commit to the System for Learning and Development (L&D) Excellence;
  • willingness to invest significant amounts of time in reading and cracking case studies and in working with a Learning Team to complete case analyses and team reflections;
  • motivation to experience an MBA-level course designed to global standards of learning excellence;
  • professional and educational achievement;
  • and English language proficiency.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellations must be submitted in writing:

  • Full Refund: Cancellations made more than 30 days before the course start date are eligible for a full refund of the tuition fee.
  • Partial Refund: Cancellations or deferrals received 14 to 30 days before the course start date are subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
  • No Refund: Cancellations received within 14 days of the course start date are subject to full payment, and no refund will be issued.

Because course enrollment is limited and selective, please apply only if you are confident in your ability to participate. For example: I understand that admission to the course is selective, and that if I am offered and accept admission, I will be reserving a seat in a limited-enrollment course. I therefore commit to applying only if I fully intend to attend and participate.”

Non-Discrimination Policy

The Center welcomes learners of all backgrounds and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, age, national or ethnic origin, political beliefs, veteran status, or disability in its admissions, courses, or programs.

While we are committed to inclusion, we are a small, non-degree-granting institution and may have limited capacity to provide certain accommodations. Applicants or sponsoring organizations with specific needs are encouraged to contact us in advance so we can assess whether those needs can be reasonably supported.

Competitor Policy

Individuals affiliated with competitor business schools (including as employees, agents, currently enrolled students, or contractors) may not enroll and should not apply. Enrollment by such individuals may result in immediate removal to protect the integrity of the learning environment and the proprietary content of the course.

II. PARTICIPATION-RELATED POLICIES

Fundamental Behavioral Standard

The Fundamental Behavioral Standard states that Learners enrolled in Courses and Programs offered through the Center are expected to show such respect for order, morality, personal honor and the rights of others as is demanded of good global citizens. Failure to do this will be sufficient cause for removal from the course or program at the discretion of the Center.

Professional Conduct Policy for Recruiters and Business Development Professionals

The Center is committed to maintaining a learning environment grounded in trust, collaboration, and professional growth. Learners are expected to participate as peers and contributors—not as recruiters, sales professionals, or commercial prospectors.

We recognize that applicants come from diverse professional backgrounds. If you are currently employed in recruiting, sales, or business development, we ask that you disclose this during the admissions process. To ensure alignment with the goals and spirit of the program, your application may be subject to additional review. In some cases, this may lead to placement in a separate cohort or a decision not to extend an offer of admission.

Note: The Experienced Managers Cohort of the Strategy Course is not suitable for professionals working primarily in recruiting, business development, or sales—unless they also have substantial experience managing teams or business units.

To preserve the integrity of the learning experience for all participants, the use of the course or learning community for commercial prospecting, solicitation, or recruitment is strictly prohibited. Violations of this policy may result in immediate removal from the program. This policy exists to protect all learners and maintain the non-commercial spirit that defines our community.

Academic Integrity Policy

The Academic Integrity Policy states that Learners at the Center must pursue all academic endeavors with integrity. They conduct themselves honorably, professionally, and respectfully in all realms of their studies in order to promote and secure an atmosphere of dignity and trust. The keystone of our honor system is self regulation, which requires cooperation and support from each member of the Center community.

Honor Code Pledge

“As a member of this academic community and as a leader, I commit to integrity in all my endeavors. In my academic work, this means I will accurately attribute sources, appropriately collect and use data, and transparently acknowledge the contributions of others. I understand that cheating, plagiarism, and other forms of academic dishonesty undermine these standards and the trust within our community, and I will actively strive to uphold this Honor Code.”

The Honor Code Pledge above states that members of the Center community commit themselves to producing academic work of integrity – that is, work that adheres to the scholarly and intellectual standards of accurate attribution of sources, appropriate collection and use of data, and transparent acknowledgment of the contributions of others. Cheating, plagiarism, and other forms of academic dishonesty violate these standards, as well as the trust among faculty and students that is essential to realizing the mission of the Center.

Curriculum Policy

The Center operates on a course-by-course basis. Therefore, the official syllabus of each course shall serve as the Curriculum Policy for that course.

III. CERTIFICATE POLICY

Certificate of Completion

To earn a Certificate of Completion, learners must:

  • Attend and actively participate in a minimum of 9 class sessions
  • Earn at least 60% of the total points available in the course

Details about how points are earned are outlined in the course LMS.
